Description: 2000-foot elevation. 80 campsites, 1 group picnic site, and 18 family picnic sites. Six picnic areas are sheltered and accessible, and firewood is available. Campsites are accessible. Lake Pend Oreille River is teeming with large and smallmouth bass as well as lake trout, crappie, perch and bullhead. The record Kamloops rainbow trout was caught here, a 37-pounder. Activities include motorized boating, sailing, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. Wildlife viewing at the game preserve nearby. Hiking trail starts across the access road from the campground; the first 0.5 mile is accessible.
