Description: 6200-foot elevation. 12 campsites and 1 group site, which can accomodate up to 125 people, on Mill Creek, in Summit Canyon. Wright Creek National Recreation Trail begins 1/4 mile away from the campground. Just west of the campground is the trailhead for Summit Canyon, which branches off in two directions. A corral and loading ramp are available for visitors with horses.

The adjacent Summit Ranger Station is on the Register of Historic Places. The Elkhorn Mountain region features high peaks, and is the largest roadless area in the Bannock Range. The steep slopes of the canyon are thickly forested with pine and fir, maple, and aspen. The trail passes through the saddle north of the summit. Area wildlife includes mule deer, and some elk, cougar, and bear.
