Description: The Salmon Falls Dam, built in 1910 to provide water for irrigation to farms, has formed this lake, which has become an important recreation area. Anglers will find their prayers answered here, with an abundance of fish including brown trout, chinook and kokanee salmon, yellow perch, black crappie, channel catfish, small mouth bass, and walleye. Ice fishing in January and February. This is the premier walleye fishery in Idaho, and trophy catches are common. Hunting for antelope and upland game birds.
The reservoir has five primitive camping facilities, and one fully developed site at Lud Drexler that has designated camping units, picnic sites, recreational vehicle dump station and a boat ramp.
Downstream from the reservoir is the 600-foot deep Salmon Falls Creek Canyon which provides 30 miles of exceptional scenic and ecological wonders.
Location: From Twin Falls Take US 30 west six miles to the junction with US 93. Travel 30 miles south to Rogerson, then turn west on Three Creek Road. Salmon Falls Dam is about 8 miles down the road.

Notes: Primitive campgrounds along the reservoir are at Greys Landing, Big Sand Bay. Norton Bay, Winter Spring, and Backwaters have dispersed camping.
