Description: 7300-foot elevation. 6 campsites on the Gros Ventre River east of Slide Lake. A nearby overflow campground can accomodate up to 35 people, either as 4 campsites or as a small group area. The rock formations that form the river canyon are spectacularly colored. National forest trailhead access is located here. Some area activities include hiking, horse riding, wildlife watching, fishing, and boating at Slide Lake.
