Description: Kortes Reservoir is located in a narrow canyon below Seminoe State Park. There are frequent surges of water from the dam upstream, so there is no boat ramp and no fish are stocked here. Rainbow trout are stocked in the Miracle Mile, and fishing for them is some of the best in the state. The Miracle Mile streches about 5.5 miles from Kortes Dam to the Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge. 11 primitive camping areas, and an accessible pier and restroom on the Miracle Mile.
Location: 54 miles southwest of Casper on US 220 then on Natrona County Route 407 and Carbon County Routes 291 & 351.
