Description: Curt Gowdy State Park, named for the famous broadcaster, contains three stocked reservoirs, low-lying meadows, gently rolling hills and massive steep granite formations. Elevation varies from 6,450 feet to over 7,500 feet. Boating, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, camping with some horse facilities available, and group picnicking. Hynds Lodge has a covered porch, a large kitchen, dining area, living area, and sleeping accomodations. Reservations required. Fee is $150/day plus $150 damage deposit. 145 camp sites(some reservable), 14 day stay limit.
