Description: 8300 foot elevation. 33 campsites, including 2 double site, and one accessible single site. Additionally, 4 group sites accomodate 35,50, or 100 people each (includes John`s Valley group site(mostly used by scouts), 0.25 mile west). The campground is in a mixed conifer forest, close to Pine Lake Reservoir. Boating(no powerboats) and fishing in the reservoir. Gravel boat ramp.
OHV unloading ramp and access to OHV trails. Trailheads in campground access the Great Western Trail and Henderson Canyon Trail. Pine Lake OHV Trail offers 21 miles of OHV fun. FR 132, a jeep road, leads to Powell Point Overlook, from which you may see Bryce Canyon National Park to the southwest. Powell Point, at 10,188 feet, was used as a survey point by the Powell Expedition. Trails also used for hiking and mountain biking.
